Call for Papers of the 16th European Workshop on Imagery and Cognition (EWIC 2018)

We are very pleased to announce the Call for Papers of the 16th European Workshop on Imagery and Cognition (EWIC 2018). The workshop will take place in Padua (Italy) at the Botanical Garden, on 7-9 June 2018.
The *European Workshop on Imagery and Cognition (EWIC)* is a biennial meeting dedicated to the study of mental imagery in its various forms (e.g., visual, auditory, and motor imagery) and spatial cognition, using behavioural methods and neuroscience techniques. Other topics of interest to the EWIC include: perception, attention, working memory, and language comprehension. EWIC has provided invaluable opportunities for many scientists to exchange their views and findings in the domain of mental imagery and cognition since its beginning in Orsay (France) in 1986. Past conferences were held in Orsay, Padua, Aberdeen, La Laguna, Saarbrücken, Oslo, Windsor, Saint-Malo, Pavia, St. Andrews, Utrecht, Helsinki, Bochum, Paphos, Paris. A historical sketch of the previous editions of EWIC is available (**).
Keynote speakers will include:
- Yann Coello (Lille University)
- Cesare Cornoldi (University of Padua)
- Cecilia Guariglia (Sapienza University of Rome)
- Daniel Schacter (Harvard University)
The abstract submission process is now available online at the following link Please follow the instructions for submitting the abstract. Deadline for submission of abstracts for both papers and posters is February 15th, 2018. Abstracts of papers and posters should not exceed 300 words.
